The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Australia Chapter is a professional organization established to support Filipino Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) residing in Australia. It serves as an international extension of PICPA, the accredited national professional accountancy body in the Philippines.
Overview
Established: The PICPA Australia Chapter was officially registered as an incorporated entity in New South Wales on August 25, 2023
Purpose: To provide a platform for Filipino CPAs in Australia to connect, collaborate, and continue their professional development.
Affiliation: Operates under the umbrella of PICPA, which is recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines as the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO) for CPAs

Leadership
The founding officers of the PICPA Australia Chapter were inducted on January 12, 2024, at Merrylands RSL in Sydney. The ceremony was officiated by Philippine Consul General Charmaine Rowena C. Aviquivil.
Membership Pathway
PICPA has a Member Pathway Agreement (MPA) with CPA Australia, allowing qualified PICPA members to pursue CPA Australia membership. This pathway recognizes the qualifications and experience of Filipino CPAs, facilitating their integration into the Australian accounting profession
